Having been really disappointed with Win7 I have bought myself a Mac Mini.
It's a neat little machine and I'm slowly finding my way round it.

BUT....

There is no news reader in the world as good as XanaNews under any
operating system so I am still using a Windows box just to run XanaNews!!!

Has anybody got a couple of hours to re-write it for OSX :-)

You should be able to run XN in a "Parallel" (I think that's the name
of the Apple VM package.) VM environment on your Mac.

Parallels is _one_ virtualisation option on Mac. VMWare's Fusion is
another. Both are cost options.

There's also VirtualBox, which is a third virtualisation option. It's
big advantage over the other two is price - it's free.

There's what appears to be a fairly useful review of all three here:

Steve,

I didn't know that VMWare and VBox ran on the Mac. Last I looked some
time ago, before dumping them both, they were Windows OS only.

Thanks for the update!

In any event Jeff should have an option.

XanaNews runs fine under VirtualBox on OSX :-)
Problem is I use the laptop to control the Mac remotely when I'm relaxing
and reading news and the combination of remote use and VirtualBox means
the cursor never lines up properly!

There is Objective Pascal for OSX, port XanaNews, sell it in the App Store
and make a killing :-)

Now that's dedication to a piece of software. You can have my copy of XN
when you prise it from my cold dead hands [nothing can touch it IMHO]
-but- installing a VM and OS to run it on a system other than Windows ...
WOW.
